When your building's migration to Gmail is complete, the Exchange mailserver will no longer be able to provide mail to your devices in their current state.  In order to get mail properly configured, follow these steps:

For IOs devices (iPhones, iPads)

  • Enter the settings application
  • Slide down to the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option
  • Choose "Add Account"
  • Choose "Google"
  • Enter your full email address and password
  • Have it synchronize all items listed.

For Android devices, there may be some variances with certain models

  • Enter the settings application
  • Tap on Accounts
  • Tap "Add Account"
  • Choose "Google"
  • Enter your full Centennial email address
  • Tap next, and enter your centennial password
  • Accept the terms of service
  • You'll want to have only Mail, calendars, contacts, Drive, Docs, sheets, and slides checked for sync.
  • Tap Next

Special note with Android devices; since a Google Account is already active with Android, you'll need to know how to toggle between the two.  In any of the google Apps, there is a drawer toggle on the top-left corner.  Tap that, and you'll see your current user picture, as well as your current email.  Tap the email, and you'll be given the choice to switch accounts.

For Windows Mobile

  • Enter the settings application
  • Tap on "Accounts+Mail"
  • Tap add account
  • Choose the option for Google.
  • Enter your Centennial email address and password
  • Tap "Add"
